DAY 1 – MONTEVERDE
Today, you will be driven to Monteverde and admire the transition of the forest where you will reach an altitude of 3,600 feet (1200 meters) above sea level where you can see perhaps the best view of the Monteverde Cloud Forest and the amazing panoramic views of Nicoya Gulf. Lunch by your own. This afternoon, you will go to Selvatura Park to do the Canopy Tour or ziplining, features 13 cables, including a 1 km cable, 15 platforms and one Tarzan Swing. There is a total of 2.2 miles of total cable length. It is suitable for people of all ages although it’s not recommended for certain people with extreme weight excess or pregnancy. The Tarzan Swing (Optional) is a side activity included in the tour where we give our visitors the option of swinging through the forest while attached to a high security rope.
DAY 2 – MONTEVERDE (B)
Very early morning takes one of Costa Rica’s most diverse natural history walks at Monteverde Biological Reserve. Positioned atop the Continental Divide in western Costa Rica, the Preserve extends down both the Caribbean and Pacific slopes. The resulting combination of climatic and geographic factors creates temperature and humidity gradients which change dramatically over relatively short distances. Splendid quetzals and Bell-birds fly about the canopy of the forest trees, and iridescent hummingbirds hover around in search of nectar. Afternoon at your leisure to explore the area.
DAY 3 – SAN JOSE (B)
Breakfast at your hotel and free time. In the afternoon, transfer back to San Josè.
